Goin' to the springs lineart
... Turns out I CAN do traditional lineart still! Woohoo!!
So here are the original characters from my InuYasha doujinshi, Irynia (as a human), Mimi, and Goofus, remembering their personal hygiene.
Drawn with a regular old mechanical pencil, then lined with Pigma Sensei markers. c:
I used Corel to edit it a bit and remove icky pencil smears, but this is pretty much how it looks.
... I forgot how much I loved doing traditional lines ... they're so much easier than digital ...

Lana and Melina sketch-portrait
While I fiddle with my tablet and try to get it working properly again, I figured I might as well upload this doodle.
I did it a while back when I was reading![:iconxxsanitariumxx:]( "XxSanitariumxX")
's fanfiction, "Star Fox: Exchange Student."
It was just a quick little sketch with color slapped on; took maybe twenty minutes tops, and obviously it's not very detailed.
But these are his original characters, Lana Tress and Melina (... BLANKING ON HER LAST NAME ... if she has one).
Lana's a Cornerian Minx (a fox/feline hybrid) and Melina's a Cornerian Robin.
They have a very complicated friendship ... !!
I hope Sanitarium approves of my little random illustration!

Doodle Dump - Traditional pen and pencil sketches
So, I've been gone for a while! But rest easy, because during my absence, I've been sketchin' up a storm!! c:
... I've wanted to do a sketchdump for AGES now, and I finally have enough "recent" stuff built up to do it! :'3
As you can see, my doodles are very rough ... nothing like the digital paintings I usually put up here ...
But I figure I need to stop being scared to show you guys my rough, "unfinished" stuff ... because I rarely do it!
Most of these will end up becoming finished paintings or drawings (either digitally or traditionally). At least, I hope they will!
SO ANYWAY ... on to the dump!
At the top we have two Krystal doodles! Because ... I love Krystal. X'3
The one on the left was done with a pen, and the one on the right is a rough concept sketch done in pencil.
Next are a bunch of InuYasha-related doodles (mostly of my doujinshi, Down to Earth) ...
Irynia in InuYasha style was done with a pen ... and the "trio" and SURPRISE CAMEO OMG WHO IS IT (♥) were done in pencil!
AND THEN THERE ARE PRETTY PRETTY PONY PRINCESSES ... drawn with pen ...
And the Mane Six drawn with pen as well! ... And they're anthropomorphized. Obviously.
The Fluttershy + Girl Fluttershy picture at the bottom is actually almost finished. It's inked lineart! c:
Oh. And there's a baby dragon I drew with a blue pen. ♥

In keeping with my need to draw things traditionally lately, I figured I'd scan and upload this recent doodle. Why not?
I mean ... it's not PROFESSIONAL, but the concept is pretty universal ... and I can still make a pro version later! :'D
Re-watching InuYasha = falling in love with Jakotsu and Bankotsu.
I mean, sure; they may be psychotic serial killers with neverending bloodlust ... but they're just so darn LOVABLE!
And the fact that they were the original members of the Band of Seven ... ♥ ... meaning they were bfffffffffffff FIRST AND FOREMOST .... c''':
Also I know a lot of people want them to be in love (sexually), but I don't see it that way. For some reason, I prefer them as brotherly friends even more!
Besides ... if Jakotsu was attracted to Bankotsu ... then Bankotsu would be in pieces by now ... !
He even says so in the anime!
