This is another portrait of my new character Lumi, just to get a better idea of her. c:
She's a fae spirit of twilight, and embodies the extremely shy side of my personality. :3
When I created her, I was thinking about foxes, birds, and dragons ... three of my favorite critters. ♥

Lumi is extremely timid, and tends to keep to herself.

She's quiet and prefers to come out during dawn or dusk ... times when her colors are less garish and tend to blend in with her surroundings more easily.
She is happiest during these times, making her prone to be more sociable. :3
During the day, her fur and skin colors become far more muted and unsaturated in appearance, unless she happens to be in a shadowy area, or a more dusky setting.
Because of the way her colors become muted and dull, she can sometimes feel insecure and unattractive in the daylight.
At night, however, the luminescent reflective qualities of her skin and fur become very obvious, glowing in the darkness. She becomes vibrant and illuminated, and because of this, she likes to hide during the night ... in places where curious wanderers won't see her glow and come searching for her.
Sometimes, when she's very nervous or very excited, she can't help but glow a little bit... especially along her cheeks and chest (almost like blushing).
In spite of her shyness, Lumi is very friendly and always hoping to make new friends.
She is a gentle soul who loves to laugh and sing and dance. ♥
Her favorite creatures are fireflies! :3
