This reads from Left ------> Right!
So I DO make traditional art every now and then, but I hardly ever scan it ... and this isn't really what I'd consider "art" ...
It's more a sketch, really; depicting a future page of my post-series InuYasha doujinshi, Down to Earth.
I have a bunch of sketches like this lying around ... I just haven't uploaded them because they aren't that "fancy." X'3
This whole scenario takes place well into the storyline ... so it's kind of random, hahaha! But I wanted to sketch it out before I forgot the idea!
In this page, Irynia is out with her trusty new friend: a stray mutt she rescued from some demons, who slowly grew to trust her (and Mimi).
... I feel like Mimi named him something ridiculous. Like Goofus or something.
Suddenly Sesshomaru shows up (he's been creepin' like a creeper, trying to see if Irynia's powers will come back)...
... and even though he may have newfound respect for mortal life (it is post-series, after all), he won't pass up any chance to be a jerk!
(I can't really blame him, though ... I mean, Irynia was the one who attacked him in the first place ...)

A little backstory (more in the link above):
My original character, Irynia (the girl), was a bird demon who lost her powers after (unwisely) picking a fight with Sesshomaru.
Now mortal, Irynia was discovered by a human girl named Mimi, who (in spite of her fear of demons) took pity on Irynia and made it her mission to help her.
Mimi brought Irynia back to her village, where she fed and clothed her, and adopted her into her household (much to her mother's displeasure).
My doujinshi is mostly about Irynia's (hilarious) adjustment to life as a "human" ... or at least as a mortal being with no demonic powers!!
As time goes on, she makes new friends (like the stray dog shown above), meets some interesting characters (COUGHtheoriginalcast?HACKWHEEZE)...
... and she slowly starts to realize that life as a human isn't that bad.
... maybe. X'3
Obviously Sesshomaru's a prominent figure in the comic, since he never misses an opportunity to be a douchebag!
PS: The story will be MUCH more interesting (and funnier) to read in the doujinshi itself, so please stay tuned and read it!!
I'm busy with lots of other things right now, but I'm sketching the pages out day by day, and I promise it'll be a good investment of your time!! c:
