I think I like pen because it's so final; you've gotta be a bit more precise, even with a sketch!up
Conceptually, this started as a way to figure out how my OC Sedge fell for Fara, and vice-versa.
I don't think that Fara would just up and dump Fox for ANY guy ... so I really had to give this some thought!
(In my story, Sedge "steals" Fara from Fox ... and I think that would be pretty tough to do, considering how awesome Fox is!)
So far, I figure the three of them were all good friends at one point, since they were all employed at SF Headquarters!
But Kat! How could three good friends become so twisted?! How did this love-triangle happen? ... PLEASE DO ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN.
In my headcanon, Fara's a confident, headstrong tomboy, who takes her job as a pilot very seriously, and loves working out. Since Sedge is employed as a personal trainer for the StarFox pilots and recruits, he's obviously always at the gym. At some point, Fara and Sedge meet, since they're often in the same place ... and since Sedge is a really nice, friendly guy, they hit it off immediately! Sedge loves how fun, sassy, and confident Fara is, and he really respects her dedication to physical fitness. The two rapidly become friends ... and Sedge develops a little crush on her.
Meanwhile, Fara and Fox are working together as pilots. One thing leads to another and the two of them become secretly interested in each other, but since they aren't official yet, they spend a lot of time hanging out with each others' friends (you know how it goes!). Let's say that Falco and Fox end up spending a lot of time with Sedge and Fara (two sets of bffs, just hangin' out, going to dinner, movies, chillaxin' at Headquarters), and all of them become buddy buddy. It's nice when everyone's friends get along!
Eventually Fara and Fox become official. Everyone's still friends, hanging out and having a good time, but Sedge starts to get a bit jealous of Fox. Not only is Fara spending less time at the gym with her best friend (Sedge); she's spending most of her time with the other pilots (including Fox), and then all of her remaining spare time out on dates (with Fox). Sedge's tiny crush on Fara explodes into something dangerous, and he starts to think of ways to steal her from Fox (because he feels that Fox has stolen her away from him).
... AND THE REST IS HISTORY.
Anyway, I'm working on the next chapters for my existing fanfics right now, but I kind of want to write a oneshot to explain all this!
Would you guys be interested in that?
